To accompany FIFA’s prestigious Golden Boot award for most goals scored during the World Cup, the Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers’ Union (LHMU) is awarding soon its own prestigious award.

Let me introduce you to the Golden Toilet Brush Award, for the building managers or body corporate who least take care of their tenants and/or treat worst their cleaning staff. In the careful words of the union:

Nominate a CBD property owner in Australia or New Zealand to win the Golden Toilet Brush Award if you believe they do not ensure the highest-standards of cleanliness in their buildings.
We want to hear from cleaners and office workers about examples of poor health and environmental standards created by property owners who cut corners when it comes to cleaning their buildings.

In words more suited to stoush.net: send them your filthy, rotten bosses, yearning to be dobbed in.

UPDATE: A list of rallies in cities across Australia/NZ is appended, thanks to Andrew Casey at the LHMU, who should himself embrace the blogging mode of production and stop hassling me to promote his events!
