How long did Orkopoulos know? Why didn’t he leave gracefully much earlier?

Without naming Mr Orkopoulos, NSW Police said a 49-year-old Belmont North man had been arrested at 7.30am (AEDT) today by officers attached to Strike Force Darook.
He was taken to Belmont police station where he was refused bail after being charged with 30 offences allegedly committed between 1997 and 2005.
He was due to appear in Newcastle Local Court today to face six counts of homosexual intercourse involving boys aged between 10 and 18 years, and 12 counts of supplying a prohibited drug.
He will also face two counts of sexual assault without consent, three counts of aggravated indecent assault, four counts of procuring by drug for prostitution, and one count each of indecent assault, act of indecency, engage act child prostitution.

Mack/Jason - There is nothing new in the Tripodi stuff. I think if he rode out the last wave he will do this one on his ear. The SMH were not that good at doing a hatchet job first time around and they had to come back for a second go and looks like they have failed miserably unless of course there is a follow up. Is this the softener?
