Hillary's campaign song: a fix if ever I heard one.
I’ve been closely following Hillary Clinton’s moves to allow voters the chance to pick her campaign song. Votes are now in, and, extremely disappointingly, rather than going with some great overblown messiah-complex soundtrack, they’ve chosen the most insipid song in the world. I very much doubt that this was the democratic result.

Much more promisingly bizarre, however, was the method of announcement, which entailed Hillary and Bill spoofing The Sopranos finale, complete with jokes about Chelsea being unable to parallel park. The video is here. Considering that The Sopranos is a show about power achieved through violence, intimidation, murder and patriarchal solidarity, I’m thinking this is the best indication yet that Hillary’s got what it takes to fuck everyone over and win the day.

Does anybody really think that Hillary Clinton will not win the 2008 election? I would be very surprised if she didnt. She already has a claim to fame and high profile(husband Bill), knowledge of how to run a successful campaign(husband Bill), woeful opposition in the democratic ranks and the emerging Republican ranks (Newt Gingrich is her only real fear if he decides to run and I have been surprised at how poorly John McCain is doing but McCain lacks the experience campaigning anyway), no incumbent, illuminati family(well it certainly isnt a hindrance in America, is it?) and enough donations to feed starving thirdworld countries for the lean winter months.
Could be wrong though, I mean I have been before…

Agree about the song. Quite possibly the worst pop song ever! One dimensional metaphors “brighter than the sun”, disgusting beat, annoying rhyming patterns, subject matter of love, it has the complexity of a 10 year old being forced to write a song to a randomn beat.
